As you might have guessed, it lives in my filofax where I can get to it when ever I want, see what I've eaten, write down that extra banana, or check to see if it really has been THAT long since I've had a biscuit with my cup of tea.
I did say that it was rough & ready! |
Until I design my own inserts this is what I'm working with. The official slimming world diary is terrible; poorly structured with barely any space to write in! I don't know about you, but my hand likes to breath!
I've divided my day into the three main meals, with specific sections for the Healthy As and Bs and any extras I might have throughout the day. All syns I might use are marked in the meal/extras space where they fall and I total them at the top using basic tallies.
It's nothing glamorous, but it's working for me.
LOL Brilliant! I've been trying to rig up a food diary for weeks and I have been searching, googling, experimenting. Last night I was going to start using graph/grid paper to rig up something but I can't find the pack that just came in the mail! So, as I was going through my box of random inserts I found all these unused address pages. Each side has 5 sections which I'm using for breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner. I just put a W over the little phone icon to record Water intake and on the last line of each section I drew an S over the icon for Supplements so I can check those off. Its very rough, too but I've changed my find about 10 times this month between using an A5, not wanting to lug an A5, to setting up a seperate Personal for a food diary then not wanting to lug 2 Personals around and on and on and on. LOL Just easier to set up a section in the Personal I am using although I did have to remove some things to make room.
